Award Winning Fashion Brand Founder, Creative Director & Curator, Filmmaker and Music Producer
Eugene Leung is a creative visionary at the forefront of fashion, art, film, and music. As the founder of INJURY, an Australian fashion label established in 2004, he has built a brand that transcends traditional fashion, blending architectural precision, cultural narratives, and immersive storytelling. Professionally trained as an architect, Eugene’s multidisciplinary approach has shaped INJURY’s evolution into a globally recognized label.
Together with his long-term partner and Brand Director, Dan Tse, INJURY has showcased on the official schedules of Paris, New York, Sydney, Shanghai, and Beijing Fashion Weeks, retailing in over 80 select stores worldwide, including Harvey Nichols, I.T., and D-mop. The brand has earned celebrity endorsements and extensive international press coverage, with features in VOGUE, SHOWstudio, HYPEBEAST/HYPEBAE, Harper’s Bazaar, GQ, WAD, WWD, and So-en Magazine.
Pioneering Fashion & Cinematic Storytelling
Beyond fashion, Eugene has made a significant mark in fashion film and creative direction, crafting award-winning visual narratives that merge cinematic artistry with cutting-edge design. His CG fashion film ‘The Butterfly’s Dream’, premiered at Afterpay Australian Fashion Week 2021, was selected by Nick Knight for SHOWstudio and featured in leading fashion film festivals, including Fashion Film Festival Milano, ASVOFF 13, and Bucharest Fashion Film Festival. The film was also screened at ASVOFF 13’s Venue 35/37 in Paris, founded by Dover Street Market.
Continuing to push the boundaries of fashion filmmaking, Eugene premiered ‘Rare Reality’ (AAFW 2022), which won Best Digital Fashion Film at Berlin Fashion Film Festival, placing him alongside industry giants such as Gucci, Mugler, and Vogue. The film also received Best Visual & Special Effects at the UK Fashion Film Festival and Best Fashion Film & Best Created Environment at Sensei Film Festival.
His latest film, ‘0000’, further cemented his reputation as a leading creative director in fashion cinematography and experimental storytelling. The film won Best Advertising at ASVOFF 15, Best Fashion Metaverse Film at the New York International Fashion Film Festival, Best Experimental Film & Best Original Sound at the Cannes World Art Festival, and has been internationally recognized for its bold visual language and avant-garde direction.
Cultural Impact & Thought Leadership
Eugene has also curated and directed some of the most boundary-pushing fashion and cultural experiences, including the DFA Award-winning ‘FFFRIDAY 2017 & 2018’, ‘Heart of Cyberpunk Immersive Experience’, and ‘BRAINWORKS’ fashion show at M+ Museum. His ability to blend fashion, design, and cultural storytelling has led to groundbreaking projects, such as ‘Heart of Cyberpunk’, which attracted over 16,642 guests in just nine days, secured 150+ media coverages, and generated thousands of social media interactions.
As a thought leader, Eugene has been invited to speak on a wide range of topics, including fashion innovation, design, and sustainability. His expertise has been featured on panels such as ‘Meta-Fashion’ at Right Click Save, ‘Digital Fashion: The Frontier’ at AAFW, and Business of Design Week (BODW). He has also served as a judge for the Polytechnic University Fashion Design Showcase and was a panelist in an exclusive roundtable discussion with Iris Apfel in 2017.
in Aug 2022, Eugene has been selected as ‘Top Creator’ for MOVE NIPPON WITH TOP CREATORS campaign to creative direct for fashion showrooms and promotions in Japan.
Music & Multi-Disciplinary Artistry
In addition to his work in fashion and film, Eugene is a music artist, performing his original live sets at Down/Under Space in Sydney, where he shared the stage with Miles Brown and Fabric. His ambient soundscape, every tiny bits, was exhibited as part of an immersive art installation at ‘Soft Space’ Exhibition, Shenzhen Design Society (2020/21).
Eugene also composes and produces all original music for INJURY’s fashion shows and films, ensuring a seamless fusion between sound, visual storytelling, and design. His ability to craft sonic landscapes that enhance the brand’s aesthetic and narrative sets INJURY apart, making each presentation a fully immersive artistic experience.
Shaping the Future of Fashion & Storytelling
Eugene’s holistic creative approach seamlessly integrates fashion, architecture, film, and music, constantly pushing the evolution of contemporary design and visual storytelling. Recognized for his ability to create highly immersive brand narratives, he was named ‘Changemaker 2022’ by Afterpay Australian Fashion Week, honoring his pioneering work in digital fashion and new media.
INJURY’s AAFW 2024/25 Fashion Show drew a full-house of 600 invite-only guests, garnering extensive media coverage from VOGUE, Harper’s Bazaar, ELLE, SHOWstudio, GQ Australia, HYPEBAE, and Astrophe Magazine. As Eugene continues to break new ground, his work remains at the forefront of fashion’s evolving intersection with art, film, and culture.

Eugene co-founded REAL PARENT in year 2020, a new media art and music collective that desires to contribute to a fresh practice to both the virtual and the real, bridging fashion and digital art.
Through digital medium, sculpture art and sonic experiences, their work explores the interchangeability of beauty within chaos, highlighting the dynamic duality between hard and soft, real and virtual. These elements continually influence each other, creating a symbiotic relationship that enhances the overall narrative and aesthetic.
A tenth-time award winner for their signature CG films, their creations transverse physical boundaries with a deeply integrated practice of 3D modelling in their wearable design and conceptual presentation. Recent collections ‘55555’ (2024/25) and ‘0000’ (2023/24) coalesce elements of post-humanist science fiction embodied across runway and ready-to-wear, alongside metaverse fashion pieces and surrealist cyberpunk short films._______

Eugene is a multidisciplinary music artist whose sonic work blends ambient textures, cinematic depth, and spatial awareness. His performances include a live set at Down/Under Space in Sydney alongside Miles Brown and Fabric, as well as appearances at Pitch Music & Arts Festival (Victoria) and Mode Festival.
For the immersive ‘Soft Space’ Exhibition at Shenzhen Design Society (2020/21), Eugene created and released a limited-edition ambient album, Groundwork — a 42-minute, two-track vinyl pressing exploring cosmic soundscapes and meditative depth. The limited-edition vinyl was part of the exhibition's physical art installation and was later recontextualized by other artists, including in Sydney’s QVB After Dark program.
His ambient work extends into wellness spaces as well — including curated Soundbath experiences, using original compositions to guide emotional release and introspection.
As the musical mind behind INJURY’s fashion shows and films, Eugene composes and produces all original soundtracks, fusing narrative, visual design, and sonic architecture into fully immersive brand experiences. His compositions have also featured in Crypto Fashion Week 2022 and were showcased during Miami Art Week, reinforcing his role as a sound designer and storyteller across mediums.
Eugene has curated and directed some of the most boundary-pushing fashion and cultural experiences across Asia and Australia. Highlights include the DFA Award-winning FFFRIDAY (2017 & 2018), the immersive Heart of Cyberpunk exhibition (which drew over 16,000 visitors in 9 days), and the BRAINWORKS fashion show at M+ Museum. His cross-disciplinary approach fuses fashion, technology, and narrative design into immersive brand and cultural environments.
In 2022, he was selected as a Top Creator for the Move Nippon with Top Creators campaign, where he led fashion showroom direction and cultural promotion in Japan.
